Our goal is to provide you and your guests with an enjoyable, hassle-free outdoors experience. We do all the trip planning (including travel arrangements if you'd like) so all you have to do is show up and start your adventure. You'll be treated like royalty and eat like it too. Or we can arrange more modest accomodations as well as true 'roughing it' wildnerness trips. Our clients appreciate the fact they can make one call and have everything taken care of. This way, they can enjoy the trip to its fullest.

Your Trip, Your Way.
If you want to go fishing in the morning, play golf in the afternoon, and sit down to a 5 Star meal that evening --- no problem. Or if you'd rather spend the entire day on the water or in the woods, that's your call. We create your trip based on what you want to do. And your schedule is our schedule. We also offer a Surf 'n Turf package where you can fish (freshwater or saltwater) and upland hunt on the same trip --- without moving to different lodging. Flexibility is our strong suit, and if part of your group prefers to golf or visit the local attractions and shopping, instead of fish or hunt, we can arrange that as well.

The Wide Open Fishing Team, led by Capt. Cefus McRae, takes you where the fish are. We can arrange trips offshore for tuna, billfish, and deep dwellers; or fish the coastal areas for smoker kingfish, cobia, stripers, snapper and grouper; or glide over the bays and flats for tarpon, bonefish, seatrout, redfish and more. Whether your group is 2 or 20, we coordinate with local USCG licensed Captains who know the area and the best places to fish for that time of year. And, we personally fish with them on a regular basis, further insuring you will have a wonderful on-the-water adventure.

Upland Hunting
South Georgia is the Quail Capitol of the US, and there's no place like South Dakota for prime pheasant hunting. Whatever your upland game choice, we can fulfill your desire and put you on high flying wild birds, and we offer hunts for novice wingshooters as well. If you would like to hunt part of the time, and fish part of the time, we can develop a trip plan that does both -- we call it the Surf 'n Turf Package and it offers the best of both worlds.

We do our best to make every charter a memorable experience and our goal is to give you a day of fishing that is second to none. We also strongly believe in preserving our resources for future generations and suggest catch and release. Of course, if you want to take home your catch for a big feast, or have a special trophy mounted, that's OK too.
